DRAWING

"Drawing is a language I find to be the most direct of visual art making. An implement that leaves it's mark on any given substrate. There is no more direct  an approach. And for that discipline I chose the language of medieval moe. It expresses so eloquently the origins of drawing. One foot in the caves of Lascaux and the other our most recent purveyors of the modern illustration, drawing enables one the ability to write an entire story in a single image."  Edward Walton Wilcox
